The Charlotte Hammond Scholarship has been retired: |

We want to thank the Hammond family for the wonderful support they have given for the past twelve years to make it possible to have awarded this scholarship to deserving student pilots. Charlotte Hammond Memorial
Scholarship was dedicated to a former member who perished as a result of a
fiery automobile crash. Her parents have provided the scholarship
money for the years to honor her memory, her enthusiasm, and love of
flying. The chapter also sponsored the induction of Charlotte
Hammond into the Forest of Friendship in Atchison, Kansas in 1993 for her
contributions to the flying community. |

| The Purpose of the Scholarship: | |
|
This scholarship fund was established to give financial assistance to a student pilot who has soloed and passed the written examination or for a licensed pilot advancing their ratings, or pursuing a career in aviation.
